speaking of moving, i'm about 75% sure i'll be moving to Philadelphia at some point in the next 3 to 6 months.

as for MW, i think only half the decline in fun value was how fucked up they made it. the other half was that while MW started out fun and got worse, (and i hate to bring it up again) castle age started out bland and has gotten really good IMO.

fighting opponents is pretty mediocre. there's nothing like robbing, no way to massively punish someone. but you can chose between invading (army vs. army) or dueling (your equipped general + best equipment), and there's a battle rank system that unlocks special units, equipment and magic as you slay more human foes.

you can also spend stamina (and now energy, as well) on battling monsters. i'm at the end of a Battle of Helms Deep sort of siege, and i've killed over 6,000 orcs.

and over all the game has a "less is more" feel with respect to level progression and equipment. it's not easy to stockpile the best equipment, and now at level 190 i only gain about 1 level per day. but as a result, it's a lot more engaging to play, because i need to think about how to spend my resources, what goals i want to work towards, etc. and i guess besides that, the other big difference is that there's a lot more built-in cooperation between players than i've seen in other FB apps.

oh and i will say one last advantage, the art is better and more immersive. MW started out kind of hardcore and became silly, but this has been pretty standard fantasy fare, but at least there are no stupid weapons like tiger shark submarines or wishbones.

Is it just me or is stamina just gone nuts since the updates? It never seems to stop building. I'm supposed to have a max of 16 and I have 101 right now.

yeah i have noticed odd behaviour there too...i thought it was something to do with getting bonues from the gift house...but i can't be sure.

Prolly something on the forums, but i dont bother with them.

I'll take anything heh. My mafia sucks. In fights I have to attack peeps with about half the size or I seem to lose. With the wish list being limited to three things now i don't even worry about putting things on it anymore much. I was losing interest till I finally got to Cuba(still doing the linear thing). Got renewed after moving up. Getting close to going to Moscow now though. Good thing cause I'd probably lose interest again otherwise.

@ DA - Do you know if any of the old gifters still work? If so, I could log back on with one of my old accounts and send whatever might be lying around there. It's been a while, but I had some higher end (at the time) Cuba and Moscow loot.

NP. Yeah, I used Spockholm's bookmarklets. Sent more stuff today.

Mafia Wars looks different now. The spam on the FB walls appears to be even worse than it was when I quit playing. I had a note that they sold all of my properties. I also had been "gifted" some vehicles, so my money was being drained from the upkeep costs.

I'm idling that character again. I deleted my primary account a while back because of the wall spam. I'm not playing on my new account and have less than 100 friends on FB. It's much easier to keep up with.

the changes to MW really shit me to no end.....Every time you manage to complete or achieve something they change it or add far more content than one can keep track of.......

I'm in autopilot with MW now..i log on, do jobs, use energy pack, declare war, do fights, mange cash and log off.....

How is everyone too BTW...with my new job i havent had much time to do much of anything else but work and sleep...these 3am wake ups are hard to get used too!!!!!
